Battery Recycling - Research, Design and Process Manager (Pineville, NC)

Lead the design and evaluation of processes, testing, installation and maintenance of equipment involved in the safe, economical, and environmentally beneficial recycling of battery materials. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and specifying equipment and processes as well as developing and executing experiments to validate process yield, throughput, and quality. 
  • Design and specify equipment for the battery recycling manufacturing process at 100 Metric Tons per year.
  • Perform laboratory testing of materials processing.
  • Own and manage the operation and troubleshooting of prototype and production equipment.
  • Lead the design and execution of experiments.
  • Characterization and analysis.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and software to repair and diagnose any malfunctions in the system.
  • Monitor data and communicate with manufacturers of production equipment. (Mandarin language required, conversations often occur after normal working hours.)
  • Prepare instrumentation diagrams, process control narratives, instrument lists, and input/output lists as part of project design and ongoing maintenance.

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary: $138,070 per year.
